Speech Bubbles Dog Layout

The first layout in this blog post celebrates a very sweet looking dog. The color scheme is a bright pink and yellow, with the color pops mostly coming from the background paper and the speech bubble embellishments on the left side of the page. Stacking those speech bubbles horizontally is a great idea! The photo cluster balances out the rest of the page. The colors from the speech bubbles are mirrored in the little pink and yellow word strips on the right side of the photo and the little circle behind the “Sweet Girl” card.

Pastel Triangles Dog Layout

Another very light and bright layout! The main colors on this page are light pastel, giving an almost ethereal look to the layout. The featured photo is very cute! Remember to take a photo together with your dog! Just think of the fun selfie photo shoots you could have! The photo is clustered with flower embellishments and the whole cluster is put on a background of pastel-tinted triangles. Those triangles are build up out of different pieces of scrapbook paper and finished of with some colored stitching around the edge. I love this triangle background idea! Notice that the triangles are all different sizes and that there are three of them (hello designer triangle made of triangles!). I also love the felt ampersand in the title and the two added buttons. A very cute layout!

Snack Addict Dog Layout

When you have dogs, you know that you always have their full attention whenever there is something to eat. I love how the creator of this page made a whole layout about that! The photo of the dog really says it all! The dog is completely focused on the possibility of scoring a nice snack! The whole layout has a wonderfully whimsical feel: the big over-the-top title, the cute snack food embellishments and, of course, the cute polka dot background! All these page elements are grounded by the strip of pink and white patterned paper running horizontally across the page, embellished by a fun doily border. The little pink hearts that are scattered all over the page are the perfect finishing touches!

All Ears Dog Layout

Just look at this cute furry face, what an adorable dog! The creator of this page focuses attention to the puppy’s big fluffy ears with the title “All Ears”. What a great idea. The dog is also wearing a very cute gingham kerchief. The main photo is a portrait shot that shows off the dog very well. The green grass provides a naturally contrasting color and so not much else is needed on the page. A horizontal grid of photos runs across the bottom of the layout, featuring more action-type shots. This way you get to see that this little pup has lots of energy and loves to play. Some journaling is added to the page and a minimum of embellishments. The photos definitely are the stars!

Beau Fuzzface Dog Layout

His name is “Beau” and he is indeed a beautiful dog. What a cuddly fuzzface! The photo is clearly the main feature on the page, with the rest of the layout kept to a minimum. The colors of the other page elements match the color of the photo, lovely browns and greys. The photo is stacked on top of the cutest doggy patterned paper Some matching dog embellishments are added on top of the photo. The whole cluster is centered on the page and anchored by the arrow in the bottom right of the page. I just keep staring into his eye! What a sweet layout for a sweet dog!

Love Is A Dog Layout

“Love is a dog”, such a wonderful sentiment! And what a great photo of this cute dog! Half sleeping, but still alert, the description that the creator of this page gives seems to be very accurate. The layout revolves around the photo, that is kept in black and white. The rest of the page is in a red and blue color scheme. I love the way the title is done with different elements, fonts and a photo frame to put extra emphasis on the dog’s beautiful face. The journaling is added directly to the photo, I always love when that is possible! And the two banners made up out of different blue and red patterned paper frame the center part beautifully with horizontal strips. I love that little hearts red patterned paper!

Horizontal Banners Dog Layout

This layout has a completely different feeling. Small square photos of the very cute dog are put in a vertical grid on the left side of the page. The four patterned paper banners running horizontally across the page balance the grid nicely. The chosen color scheme is somewhat subdued, resembling the colors of the photos. All the page elements give a nice color pop because of the dark grey background. I love including multiple photos on a page, especially, as is the case here, if they tell a story. You can almost see the dog move as in a little film strip. Lovely layout!

Brown Puppy Dog Eyes Layout

This layout celebrates the beautiful sad brown puppy dog eyes this dog uses to always get what he or she wants! The title of the page is “Pathetic 101” and the journaling states the “4 steps to mom’s heart”. Well, if you got those gorgeous eyes, use them! This photo is fantastic. It is beautifully in focus and the lighting is just perfect. The color scheme of the page matches the browns in the photos, adding little orange buttons for little pops of color. I love the way the title is spelled out using different color letters and different fonts. The added embellishments give the page a whimsical look. Very nice!

Happy Bright Dog Layout

Light and bright, let’s go outside! What a great layout! I love the two featured photos, taken only seconds apart. They have such a happy feel about them! This bright feeling is continued in the rest of the layout. The photos are stacked on a background made up of three light-colored horizontal patterned paper strips. The colors of those papers are matched by the added embellishments and the whole cluster of page elements makes up a wonderful collage. My personal favorites are the polka dot sun and the gingham cloud! Notice how the chevron arrow added to the right upper corner of the cluster beautifully balances the page.

Hand-made Stars Dog Layout

Find the star of the show amongst all the other stars! This sweet dog is photographed from above, another great camera angle to try out. The stars look handmade and are probably cut from paper that has been painted beforehand. What a wonderful idea! This way you can give your page that special personal touch. I love how the photo, title and stars are clustered together in a horizontal orientation in the center of the page. Paint splatters add an extra whimsical look. The whole white background is stitched onto another painted piece of paper! The painted title letters fit the handmade theme perfectly.

Love This Girl Dog Layout

Another very cute dog! What a sweet furry friend! The photo provides the pop of color, especially with that white snowy background. The rest of the page is made up with tone-on-tone beige browns, white and dark grey. All the page elements are clustered in a vertically running strip, slightly to the left of the page. The layout is beautifully balanced by the journaling strips running into the right side of the page and the stitched arrow (awesome!) and swirls. Notice how the chalkboard hearts form a designer triangle!

Cute Woof Dog Layout

“WOOF” and “cute”, this layout couldn’t have been summarized any more succinctly! What a cute puppy. The two photos are put in a 2×2 grid, with the rest of the spaces filled up with the title and the journaling. Three blue stars run in the middle of the grid, adding some playfulness. I love the way the squares with the title and journaling are color divided into two triangles. This lovely orange gives this layout a pop of color. And the background patterned paper with all the hand-drawn hearts is the perfect finishing touch!

Perfect Photo Dog Layout

This dog is going places and doing things! The photo is stunning: the colors are beautiful and the composition is perfection. How cool is it that the dog is the same color as the background? This is very easy on the eyes. The photo is framed by two big red and white clusters of flowers and other embellishments. Journaling is added to the bottom left of the page. I love the way the letters and swirls both in the upper left corner and in the bottom right corner run over the photo. This pulls all the elements beautifully together.

Pretty Pink Dreams Dog Layout

In all the animal kingdom, sleep is absolutely sacred. Hence the title: “Do Not Disturb”. What a cute photo and what a sweet layout! Pink is the dominant color, coming from the snuggly blanket the dog is sleeping on and the color is mirrored in the letters of the title. A horizontal strip of small photos, featuring even more shots of the cute sleeping dog runs across the top of the page. I love the different angles included in these little photos. The journaling is framed in a contrasting blue color. This color can also be found in the background paper.

Truman The Adorable Dog Layout

Meet Truman, the adorable dog! He is immortalized in this photo showing him in action! The journaling tells us a little more about this almost six-month-old puppy. The color scheme of this layout is a combination of gorgeous muted green and dark brown. I love those grungy looking patterned papers. They each have a character of their own, yet perfectly match together. The title in big light letters is put vertically on a dark brown background on the left of the page. The whole layout is pulled together by the light green ribbon running acrocss the whole page. The leaf swril doodles, the heart and the paw prints are the perfect finitshing touches.

House Full Of Dogs Layout

Imagine having a house full of puppies! Wouldn’t that be awesome? Especially if they are all as cute as these five dogs! What a collection of sweet furry faces! The photo grid is centered on the page and is surrounded by lovely brown colored patterned papers and matching embellishments. The bright lettered title says it all! Notice how the two embellishments and the title form a designer triangle. This triangle is emphasized by the pop of bright color in all three. The light color for the left bottom corner flower predominantly comes from the date tag, but it still counts!

Pastel Smile Dog Layout

Smile doggy, you’re on a very cute layout! These soft blue and yellow pastel colors make the two featured photos really pop. And the papers and embellishments that are used are just so cute! The yellow polka dot paper is adorable, but then I’ve never seen a polka dot I didn’t like. And of the embellishments, the cute little banner that runs on the top of the page is my absolute favorite. The photo is clustered with sweet flower embellishments, a cool ribbon and some journaling. The pate is pulled together by the light-blue gingham banner running from the bottom of the photos to the left side of the page and the banner running across to the other side. The journaling overlaps with the title, connecting the photo cluster to that side of the page as well.

Cute Einstein Dog Layout

Is it just me or does the main photo of this layout remind you of that famous photo of Albert Einstein? Wouldn’t it be cool to use a comparison like that as the base of your layout? Keep that idea in mind when you make your scrapbook layouts! As is, this page is very cute too. The main photo is fantastic, a great angle and the expression on the dog’s face is priceless. I love the close-cropped nature of the three smaller photos that were added. What a wonderful idea to zoom in on the nose and eyes in that way! The photos are in black and white and the color on this page comes from the background and embellishments. And a lot of color it is! From the striped patterned paper to the complex looking flower embellishments, this page is filled to the brim with baby blues and pinks. And just to make sure the message comes across without a shadow of a doubt the title spells out “Dog Gone Cute”!

Wanted Poster Dog Layout

This dog is wanted for stealing his or her owner’s heart. And the pup sure looks guilty of the crime! What a sweet face! It is a good thing we are cautioned that “looking into eyes may cause puppy love”. Best be on the safe side and focus on the layout itself! The page design is an old Western “Wanted” poster, but with a cross-stitch twist. I absolutely love this idea. It gives a digital layout a wonderful traditional look. The font used for the title is just perfect and the same goes for the cross-stitch lettering on the rest of the page. Even the little screws in the four corners of the layout are cross-stitched, what a lovely eye for detail! The embroidered paw prints and the little red heart are the perfect finishing touches.

Deep Color Dog Layout

A big heart, a cute photo, some journaling strips and a little set of banners, this layout has it all! The gorgeous black dog dominates the page that has been divided in a 2×2 grid. What a great idea! I love the big heart with all the little hearts and paw prints in it. And the banners are made from lovely deep colored patterned papers. The all the page elements are pulled together by the green strip running across the page, touching most of the grid squares. The little paw print embellishment is the perfect finishing touch. Simple, colorful and gorgeous layout!

A Boy And A Dog Layout

This layout is beautifully simple. The black and white photo is absolutely adorable and not doubt has inspired the title. The color scheme for the rest of the page consists of yellow (pale yellow as the background with a bright color pop by the little strips on the photo), grey (The greys in the photo and the big ampersand in the title) and orange-red (the title, the embellishing strips and the frame around the photo). All the page elements are clustered horizontally in the center of the layout. This leaves some lovely white space above and below the cluster. A lovely, tranquil layout with a sweet photo!

Close Snuggles Dog Layout

This photo is brilliant. The angle with the nose is so funny! It does require some explanation as to why the dog is snoozing this way, and fortunately, the creator of this page give that in her journaling. It is a sweet habit of Daisy the dog to get as close as possible to her owner whenever she can. And sometimes she needs a little nudging. But who could ever refuse cuddles and snuggles from this sweet puppy? Well, exactly. The journaling has inspired the title. The page has a lot of cute elements on it. My personal favorites are the little dog bone with the word “Dog” and the little heart (is that a metal embellishment) and the heart with the paw print on it. “I have paw prints on my heart”. And that’s the truth!

Black And White Filmstrip Dog Layout

A black, white and blue filmstrip! The creator of this page celebrates Barrie the little sunshine dog with this awesome looking layout. What a wonderful idea. The filmstrip is a fun way to grid up your photos. The filmstrip and the photos are kept in black and white, making the blue of the rest of the page pop with color. The movie strip is put on the page at a slight angle, adding some playfulness. The leaf embellishments are clustered in two groups balancing each other perfectly. The title pulls the whole page together. I love the background patterned paper that has stripes running at an angle. This too helps to give the page a more whimsical feel. And finally, let’s not forget how incredibly cute that third photo is! Sheer perfection!

Furry Dog Face Layout

Dog looks into camera and a perfect photo is born. What a sweet dog! Such a cute furry face! The layout is cute too with the photo and the title taking up the upper half and a grid of small squares filling the lower half. The two halves are pulled together by the vertical strip of patterned paper running across the page on the left side. The small grid squares are filled with cute pattern paper, some journaling and sweet embellishments. I love the way the big “DOG” letters of the title match the patterned papers of the lower grid, another unifying element. The little paw print in the letter “O” with the green teeny tiny heart in it is the perfect finishing touch.

Pohto Grid Dog Layout

Source: Pinterest

A very cute photo session with this cute dog has to be documented! And this page is the perfect way to do it. With a grid you can add a lot of photos to one single page so no need to leave out some of your favorite snaps! The grid layout resembles some of the pocket page layouts (for instance: Project Life) where the middle is taken up with four small photos and the top and bottom are made up of two larger landscape oriented photos each. Two of these larger photos have been split up into two smaller ones. With so much going on a page you really don’t need that much extra in terms of embellishments etc. Some journaling is added and a couple of little extras, but the layout predominantly showcases the cute dog in all sorts of poses. Don’t forget to include a photo of yourself with the dog!

Big Sweetie Dog Layout

This “Big Sweetie” certainly deserves this cute colorful layout! Again a very good main photo was chosen and a grid of four smaller photos was added. Each of the photos has its own colorful frame, matching the color scheme of the page beautifully. I love the choice of bright blues and green and I absolutely adore the chevron patterned paper that is added both to the top and bottom of the page. Notice the design triangle of sweet little flowers! They are the perfect finishing touch to this cute page.

Thy Name Is Dog Layout

Observant readers may have notice the big “DOG” embellishment on the scrapbook layout two pages ago. In this awesome layout, the embellishment is enlarged and used as the dominant extra on the page. It is title and journaling all in one and it fits just perfectly with the beautiful photo of the dog. The photo is cropped horizontally, leaving “white” space in the form of a gorgeous dark brown background. The thin horizontal lines (one solid and one dotted) running above the photo are the perfect finishing touched and anchor the photo cluster to the background. Notice the little red heart, the only color pop on the page, near the dog’s nose. I love the simplicity of this page. It is absolutely gorgeous.
